5. Tick factory settings and click service
6. Celebrate you're done.

1280 light solution
This is the 1280 light solution. It can be applied to 1616 and 1800 as well. Just trace the line to determine which connection is broken. This is recommended specially if you already replace LCD and LCD driver.

1616 Water Damage shorted problem
1616 Water Damage shorted problem Solution
History: The phone was borrowed from the owner by his friend. After an hour the borrower returned the phone totally dead.
Diagnostic: Using a VOM I found out that the phone is shorted. Vbat is directly connected to ground. I dissamble the phone and I found out that it was filled with moist and water.
Solution:
1. Clean the board. You could rinse it with water and washed it using liquid soap. Dry it using hot air.
You could use ultrasonic cleaner as well.
2. After cleaning the board. Test again using Multi-tester. In this case shorted is still there.
3. Using schematic diagram trace every electronic component that could be the culprit in this problem.
In this 1616 phone I found out that C2213 is the problem. Replace or remove it and my problem was solved.
